Here are the basics and everything else you need to know about olive pomace oil.
What is Olive Oil?
Olive oil is also the juice obtained from the fruit of the olive tree. It is made from the oil that remains in the olive paste after the extra virgin and olive oils are extracted. It is almost tasteless and can be great for dishes that don't want aroma from their fat. It is also a refined oil. Unlike extra virgin olive oil, which preserves its olive aroma, refined olive pomace oil has no taste or odor. It can be classified as olive pomace oil, refined pomace oil or crude pomace. The product offered by adding olive oil is Verde Edible Olive Oil. It can be safely consumed in all meals that require olive oil aroma. Verde Fried is 100% refined olive pomace oil. With the modern refining process, it has been freed from taste and odor, and has become resistant to very high temperatures and repeated frying processes. In addition, it is suitable for use in all dishes where the oil flavor is not desired.
Types of Olive Oil
Olive Oil: It is composed of refined olive pomace oil and natural olive oils suitable for direct consumption, with a free fatty acid content of not more than 1.0 grams per 100 grams of oleic acid.
Refined Pomace Oil: It is the oil obtained as a result of refining crude pomace oil by methods that do not cause any change in its natural triglyceride structure and its free fatty acidity is not more than 0.3 grams per 100 grams of oleic acid.
The purpose of refining is to remove as much as possible the components in the oil, which can adversely affect storage, thermal stability and consumer taste, without damaging the oil's structure and beneficial minor components (such as tocopherol, squalene, sterol).
Benefits of Olive Oil
Regular consumption of pomace oil can help keep your veins clean. This is because pomace oil is 80 percent monounsaturated, which can help lower your cholesterol levels. It also preserves the benefits of olive oil, including high levels of oleanolic acid, which helps reduce high blood pressure. And like other olive oils, pomace oil is naturally gluten-free even after it has been refined.
